Top Questions
Can I amend my files partly?
Yes, you can make changes to an entire file, a part of a file, or a specific service in ETOS. Amendment of files booked under API is not available at the moment.
Can I cancel a file partly?
Yes, partly cancellation of a file is available with ETOS. A cancellation invoice can be prepared with the company's desired markup.
What do you mean by movement management?
After a successful booking, the sales consultant has to set up the movement of the booking file, which allows the consultant to enter all of the necessary timelines of the itinerary, including arrival and departure details, and daily activity time. It allows reservations and operations to handle the file correctly for ground handling.
What does creating multi-proforma or split-proforma mean?
The system generates split/multi proforma invoices in two situations: multifamily, when family-specific invoices are required, and multi-currency, where invoices are required in two currencies for the same booking.
What is provisional GOP (gross operating profit) or GP (gross profit)?
ETOS generates GOP / GP from each booking file generated by the sales consultant based on the markups added to the file by the sales consultant. This is referred to as provisional, as the booking file can change as per the final invoice and supplier bills in real-time. After all the supplier bills and sales invoices are entered into the system, the final GOP/GP is generated.
